Hello fellow players. Bonjour Boules players. This group is set up to play the French game of Boules, The group will play in the square at crediton, Usual time of 2pm in the Town Square by Ashtons. Notes on first meeting of the newly formed Boules Group. Eight interested people met at 10am on Tuesday 11th October at Ashtons Coffee shop in the square to discussed the formation of this group. Garry Adams an experience boule player took the chair. All present agreed they would prefer to meet on a Tuesday afternoon as most had other commitments on Tuesday mornings. It was agreed that we would meet at 2pm on the second Tuesday of the month. We would meet even if the weather was inclement and possibly just enjoy coffee to maintain the momentum of the group.  
Garry explained the rules of the game and we found we had sufficient boule between us to make a start with two teams of four players. Totally energised by the coffee we went out into the square and marked up our play area. It was a lovely dry sunny day and we all thoroughly enjoyed our non-competitive playing, though one team were declared the winners!
