We meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 10.00 – 12.00 at Crediton Downes Golf Club. Our creative writing group aims to be fun, interesting and mutually supportive while showing consideration for each other’s respective capabilities.

When the group started out, no-one had any substantial experience of creative writing but we have evolved and are constantly learning various genres, techniques and themes. The group has a full register of up to 10 members and is continuing to go from strength to strength.

Members regularly complete informal written exercises and submit stories for feedback while having group discussions on the chosen theme. We are a friendly bunch who will warmly welcome new members who wish to either learn a new skill or enhance an existing talent in creative writing.
