The Current Affairs group meets on the second Thursday morning of each month, 11am-12.30pm at a member's house. We choose a topic in advance to give people a chance to research it (or not) then everyone can say what they think. Recent topics have included fashion, extinction rebellion, fracking and BREXIT.

We have agreed people will not interrupt someone who is speaking so that everyone gets their turn, and also that we will try not to be too anecdotal.

There is now a new 2nd Group covering this topic. Its first meeting will be held at Costa Coffee on Monday 7th October starting at 10pm
